Leeds Canoe Club Blog. We paddle... lots!
Airewaves used to be Leeds Canoe Club's magazine letting people know what the club was upto. Its quite hard work pulling together a publication letting people know what the club is doing and publishing dates in advance is always hard as things tend to change. Step forth the blog.. Push button publishing for the masses. So here is the idea a few people in the club take it in turns to write up trips and talk about things in the club.

December 11th - Upper tees
Bob Elliot (two new boats) swam at the bottom of the low force falls. Although he may wish to explain this away, it doesn't alter the fact that Bob swam.
Other swimmers include, Nick (Dr evil) on the S bends (failing to paddle?) and Ben also on the S bends (failing to acknowledge that S bends involves bends and going straight on?).
There was at least one other swimmer, who only swam to make the rest of us look good, selfless to the end. Thanks Jeannie.
Comments:In fact, I truly believe Ben didn't forget about the turn. He just got the direction wrong. Or the plane - vertical rather than horizontal. But one couldn't argue to the fact that Ben DID turn... over.Post a Comment
