Beginner Trip
Beginner trips are targeted at those paddlers who need to learn the
basic techniques on still and moving water. An example trip would be
Sleningford in low water, where paddelers are learning basic stokes
Intermediate Trip
Intermediate trips are targeted at those paddlers who need to perfect
their techniques on moving water. Typically, these will be grade 3 rapids. An
example trip would be the Tees Barrage.
Advanced Trip
Advanced trips are targeted at those paddlers who are very competent
on grade 3 rapids and wish to improve their technique on grade 4 water.
.An example trip would be the Tryerwyn or Nottingham.
Notes
1: Canoeing is highly dependant on water so all trips can be changed
at short notice to make the best use of the water conditions.
2:
Not being at the required standard for a trip means that you will not
enjoy your paddle and you could potentially hurt yourself, as well as
ruining the trip for other paddelers. Changes in water levels can change
a trip dramatically, therefore, the trip organiser has ultimate say
over who can paddle. Sorry, but if you aren't upto it, then you're not
paddling. Check on Thursday with the organiser
