Coaches

All members of the club who wish to coach or lead other members on the river must hold a relevant BCU qualification or obtain a "Leeds Canoe Club" permit. The list below shows all the club members who are registered as coaches and leaders within our club.

Leadership remits allow the person to lead club members on water within the grade stated.

Coaching remits allow the person to coach skills which are included in the stated BCU star award syllabi. Note that the star awards refer to the "new" syllabus unless otherwise stated.

The "BCU Remit" quotes the remit given to them by the BCU through their BCU coaching qualification. The LCC remit states the remit given to the paddler by the club. An LCC remit is given when a paddler wishes to coach or lead above their BCU remit and the club deems them competant to do so.

Provider status lists the awards which the coach is able to assess and award.
